About the Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Cook or Café Operator to run our fully equipped kitchen and café under a rental or lease arrangement.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled cook or small business operator to manage their own food service business within an established venue.

The successful applicant will take responsibility for daily operations, menu design, purchasing, staffing (if required), and compliance — while benefiting from an existing customer base and support from the venue team.

What's Included

Your Responsibilities

Operate the kitchen and café as your own business under agreed terms.

Provide consistent, high-quality meals and café service.

Manage food preparation, menu creation, stock control, and pricing.

Ensure all food safety and compliance obligations are met.

Maintain cleanliness and professional presentation of kitchen and café areas.

Work cooperatively with venue management to align service hours and promotions.

Ideal Candidate

Experienced cook or chef ready to operate independently.

Demonstrated ability to manage kitchen operations or small café.

Holds necessary Food Safety Supervisor certification.

Strong customer service focus and pride in presentation.

Business-minded with good organisational and budgeting skills.

Reliable, proactive, and community-oriented.
