is seeking an
Information Technology Support Consultant
Reporting to the
ICT Manager,
this role will be a key part of our ICT operations, responsible for ticket resolution, client support, and IT project assistance.
You will collaborate with both clients and internal stakeholders to diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring a seamless IT experience. This role also involves mentoring non-technical staff and escalating complex problems when required.
Key Responsibilities
Efficiently resolve ICT support tickets with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a positive user experience.
Communicate effectively with clients to analyse service requests and provide clear resolutions.
Isolate, replicate, and troubleshoot complex technical issues, escalating when necessary.
Guide clients with their IT requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
Work independently while contributing within a collaborative team environment.
Assist in IT infrastructure projects and ongoing operational improvements.
Provide support for project work outside of standard business hours (afterhours and weekends) when required.
Technical Skills & Expertise
Networking: Understanding of routers, switches, firewalls, VPN connections, DHCP, and DNS.
Microsoft Environments: Windows Server & Desktop, Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP.
Microsoft 365 & Cloud: Advanced knowledge of Office 365, Azure AD, Conditional Access Policies, Exchange Online, Mobile Device Management (MDM).
Security & Backup: Awareness of Azure security best practices and backup policies.
About You
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 2–3 years of IT support experience in a similar role.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to support users both remotely and on-site.
- Ability to mentor and upskill non-technical staff.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA).
