Position:

As an experienced Consultant, you have the primary responsibility for executing IT audit project work plans for client-facing engagements, serving as both role model and trainer. Consultants demonstrate the attributes of excellent client service and assists team members in developing technical and professional competency. Consultants identify areas of IT risk and opportunities to improve IT business processes through: 

• Reviewing, documenting, evaluating, and testing operational and financial controls in a wide range of environments
• Communicating control strengths and weaknesses to the client or engagement team and developing effective solutions
• Ensure timely completion of assigned project phases
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships
• Apply understanding of Protiviti policies and proficiency in Protiviti methodologies
• Apply understanding of business processes and technical skills to successful completion of project assignments
• Develop understanding of project requirements and client's business

Position Requirements:

• The position requires travel to client sites. Out-of town travel also may be required
• 2+ years in a related field, preferably in professional services and/or industry.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Information Technology, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems or Data Analytics) required.
• A diverse skill base in both IT auditing and information systems.
• Project management skills to facilitate timely completion of established project milestones.
• Ability to work in a team environment and foster client relationships.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information in a strictly professional manner
• Ability to maintain professional demeanor in times of high stress.
• Apply understanding of business processes and technical skills to successful completion of projects.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance.
• Professional certification such as CISA strongly preferred, although not required
