Established in 1955, the Group is responsible and progressive in all areas of its business and boasts a culture of excellence and inclusion. With over 100 staff, a gaming installation of circa 500 EGMs and 30,000 members, the Club places its people and the community at the forefront of all of its activities and initiatives.
We're looking for a motivated Technical Analyst (Network, Systems and Security) to design, implement, and secure the Club's IT infrastructure: networks, systems, and security platforms, ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance with cyber security standards. The role supports business growth, digital transformation, and provides technical expertise to stakeholders and end users.
Key Responsibilities
Network & Infrastructure
• Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and firewall systems.
• Administer servers, operating systems, and cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure).
• Monitor and optimise system/network performance and proactively resolve issues.
Cyber Security
• Implement and maintain security controls aligned with frameworks (Essential Eight, ISO 27001, NIST).
• Manage vulnerabilities, ensure patch compliance, and respond to security incidents.
Cloud & Transformation
• Support cloud adoption, migrations, and IT transformation initiatives.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation including network diagrams, runbooks, and DR plans.
Communication & Customer Service
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear language for non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide outstanding customer service to internal teams and external partners.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships across departments and vendors.
• Communicate technical status updates and escalate issues to the Head of IT when necessary.
Team & Culture
• Collaborate within a supportive and high-performing IT team.
• Share knowledge, contribute ideas, and help improve internal processes.
• Maintain professional presentation and personal grooming in line with Club standards.
Key Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Professional certifications in Networking, Cyber Security, and/or Cloud Platforms.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and cyber threats.
• Commitment to privacy, compliance, and governance standards.
• Current driver's licence (desirable).
Other Requirements
• Ability to work across multiple Club venues.
• Adherence to Workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect when handling sensitive information.
