This newly created position provides a unique Gold Coast opportunity for someone to join a large, fast paced and highly successful brand. Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide complex data analysis across a broad range of KPI's, including financial and business operations, analysing and reporting on business performance and other metrics.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cash flow forecast modelling and variance analysis
  • Gathering, validating and documenting business requirements
  • Complex analysis of budgets, sales results and financial forecasts to identify trends and future impacts.
  • Modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements
  • Foster an evidence base for evaluation and performance measurement
  • Incorporate data analysis into reporting and prepare impactful visuals
  • Support the development of strategic/tactical business line roadmaps, strategic planning and prioritising planning cycle deliverables
  • Provide business cases for senior management
  • Develop quality and productivity scorecards, management reports and tools
  • Driving change management and lean methodologies

Our ideal applicant will have a tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or relevant field. We require at least 2 years experience in a similar commercial role within a medium to large sized organisation. An audit background with some commercial experience will also be considered.

Your advanced Excel knowledge and strong analytical mindset are critical to this position. If you have a high level of commercial acumen, strong communication skills, attention to detail and an ability to work to tight deadlines, we want to hear from you.
