As a **Financial Crime Advisory Analyst**, reporting to the **Senior Manager Financial Crime Advisory**, you will support the Financial Crime team within Group Risk by providing expert advice to the business on AML/CTF compliance and financial crime risk management.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will help interpret and implement financial crime policies and standards, contributing to a risk-aware culture and supporting continuous improvement across our operations.
**A few of your responsibilities**:
- Assist in the provision of AML/CTF advice and interpretation of financial crime policies.
- Research and engage with industry and regulatory guidance to maintain current knowledge.
- Advise on controls and procedures for compliance with Sanctions and Anti-Bribery & Corruption policies.
- Respond to business inquiries and contribute to financial crime working groups.
- Report on financial crime risk and compliance, highlighting areas of concern or emerging risks.
**What we are looking for**:
- 1-2 years’ experience in financial crime risk management or advisory roles, ideally within banks, financial services, ASX-listed company, regulatory agencies, or consulting firms.
- Strong analytical and research skills with a high level of critical thinking.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical software.
- Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
