We are seeking a permanent full time Rostering Officer to work with us at Tenterfield Care Centre.
Are you highly organised and ready to thrive in a fast-paced aged care environment? We are seeking an experienced rostering officer to join our team and play a crucial role in coordinating and maintaining our workforce roster.
This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and strong communication skills, as you will be responsible for managing shift allocations, ensuring roster compliance, and supporting staff resourcing needs. What you will do:
The Rostering Officer will be responsible for a range of rostering and workforce coordination duties, such as:
- Preparing and posting rosters within required timeframes
- Ensuring alignment with the Master Roster and relevant Enterprise Agreement
- Coordinating replacements for staff on planned and unplanned leave using a fair and efficient process
- Utilising agency staff only when internal replacement options are exhausted
- Liaising with the HR Team regarding roster vacancies
- Liaising with the Finance Team on payroll matters
- Using rostering software applications to support effective roster coordination
What you will bring:
- Previous experience in rostering/HR with at least 2 years in a similar role
- Strong proficiency in rostering software and good skill level in MS Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders
- A positive, solutions-focused attitude that supports our team culture
- NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
