Early Childhood Educator / Trainee – Full-Time (0–3 Room)

A.C.E Child Care Centre – Doncaster East

$30- $40 per hour

A.C.E Child Care Centre is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic full-time Early Childhood Educator or Trainee to join our small, friendly team in the 0–3 years room.

This full-time position (38 hours per week) involves rotational shifts Monday to Friday between 7.00am and 6.30pm— applicants must be available for all shifts.

A.C.E Child Care Centre is a privately owned, purpose-built centre providing high-quality, individualised care for up to 34 children each day, aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Our educators take pride in creating a warm, supportive environment where every child is known, valued, and encouraged to thrive. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being part of a close-knit team and values the importance of early years education.

A.C.E Child Care Centre is committed to child safety and wellbeing.

We can offer a traineeship if you do not yet hold a Certificate III or Diploma. This enables you to work while studying towards your qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.

You are:

• Friendly, enthusiastic, and eager to learn

• Professional, reliable, and self-motivated

• Dedicated to the care and education of children aged 6 weeks to 6 years

• Able to work collaboratively within a team

• Committed to creating a warm and nurturing learning environment

• Able to manage daily care routines, administrative, and compliance tasks

• An Australian citizen or permanent resident

• Holding (or able to obtain) a current Working with Children Check


• Australian citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa holder with right to work

The Role Involves


• Working collaboratively as part of a supportive team

• Developing positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

• Providing a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment

• Assisting with educational programs and routines

• Ensuring effective supervision in accordance with regulations

• Contributing to documentation and record keeping

• Supporting children's wellbeing through positive, respectful interactions

• Helping maintain a clean and organised environment

Skills & Requirements


• Certificate III (or currently working towards) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)

• Current and valid Working with Children Check

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training

• Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)


• Child Protection training (or willingness to complete upon commencement)
