We're looking for A Full time ECT to join our Sessional Kinder, multiple Educators and Casual educators to join our LDC team in 2026

You must be available to work varied shift times between 7am - 6pm.

Early Years @ Phoenix Park is a community based early learning centre that is managed by a parent committee. Early Years @ Phoenix Park offers long day care, integrated 4-year-old kindergarten and 3 and 4-year-old sessional kindergarten programs. Our Vision is to foster a strong and cohesive community in which children are central and families are supported. Our Mission is to work together to deliver an accessible, high quality integrated community based early childhood service, that maximizes child and family well being to build and strengthen community connectedness. You will be working within a collaborative team culture where program, planning and documentation is shared in partnership within your team to develop a child focused educational program for the children in your care.

Qualifications & Experience:

ECT Role:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Current VIT Registration, we are happy to support transitioning from probationary to full registration
  • At least one year experience in a kindergarten teaching role is preferred
  • Strong understanding of the EYLF, Code of Ethics, planning cycle, intentional teaching, and documentation practices
  • Familiarity with sector frameworks and systems such as SRF, KIS, Arrivals, and the Preschool Field Officer Program is highly valued
  • Certifications:
  • Mandatory Reporting & Child Protection Training
  • Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Certificates
  • Must have full working rights in Australia

Educators, Casual Educators:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services
  • Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
  • Mandatory Reporting Training Certificate
  • Valid Working With Children's Check
  • Full Working Rights in Australia
  • Sound knowledge of the EYLF, code of ethics, planning cycle and documentation
