We are a renowned establishment dedicated to culinary excellence, and we are seeking a talented Sous Chef to become the right hand to our Head Chef. In this pivotal role, you will be essential in maintaining the high standards and vibrant energy that define our kitchen.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Kitchen Leadership: Supervise the smooth and efficient running of our busy kitchen during all service periods.
- Culinary Execution: Oversee the daily preparation, production, and impeccable presentation of all food items, ensuring consistency and quality from our kitchen to the guest's table.
- Upholding Standards: Confidently manage kitchen operations and maintain all standards and expectations in the absence of the Head Chef.
- Safety & Compliance: Be the champion of our kitchen's safety, ensuring strict compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
- Innovation & Quality: Bring your passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes to life, with an unwavering commitment to using only the freshest, high-quality ingredients.
The Ideal Candidate Has:
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Proven experience in supervising a team and managing kitchen workflows.
- A challenge-driven mindset with a strong passion for continued learning and self-development.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards.
