What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a fast-paced Steak and seafood kitchen, ideally in a sous chef or senior role
  • Passion & Vision: A hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and always strives to deliver a better customer experience through food and service
  • Commitment to Quality: A strong focus on using local and Australian produce to keep up with food trends while maintaining attention to detail
  • Leadership: Ability to lead, inspire, and challenge your team to be their best every day
  • Calm & collected: Ability to handle pressure at any time, be calm and communicate well with everyone in the team, as well as our customers
  • Flexibility: Available to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays
  • Around the world: Knowledge and experience in different types of Cuisine will be an advantage but not essential

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead kitchen operations with a focus on consistency, quality, and presentation
  • Manage, train, and inspire kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment
  • Manage stock, keep with in budgets
  • Support menu planning, ensuring it aligns with current trends and customer preferences
  • Keep up with food trends and continually innovate to enhance the customer dining experience
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
