About the Role

Currently, we have a position available for aFull time Medical Receptionist at our specialist consulting rooms in Randwick.

This is an interesting and varied position and, in this role, you will act as a receptionist for doctors consultation clinics and:

  • Liaise with patients and medical practitioners.
  • Schedule consultation appointments and day hospital procedures
  • Manage patient records and correspondence.
  • Conduct invoicing and receipting of patient accounts.
  • Undertake daily banking reconciliation and other reception duties.
About You

As the successful applicant, you will ideally have experience in a similar position working with Specialists. You will also preferably have:

  • Knowledge of medical administrative tasks
  • Knowledge of medical and procedural billing (highly desirable)
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent computer literacy, adept with MS-Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with Genie software - an advantage but not essential

This position would be suited to a candidate looking for a long-term position. SEG is part of a larger group and there are opportunities for staff growth and development.
