Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Community Access and Activities Coordinator based in Logan, QLD. The Coordinator will design, implement, and oversee community programs and activities that promote participant engagement, social inclusion, and personal growth. Responsibilities include building connections with local organizations, facilitating access to resources, coordinating tailored activities, fostering communication between stakeholders, and ensuring the alignment of programs with individual care plans.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills for effective interactions with participants, families, and community organizations.
  • Experience in Training and facilitating educational or activity-based programs.
  • Knowledge or experience in Elder Care and Mental Health to support diverse participant needs.
  • Familiarity with Fundraising strategies to develop and sustain community programs.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to oversee multiple activities and projects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Prior experience with NDIS frameworks is a plus.
  • Relevant qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, or a related field.
