What's the role on offer?
Based at the Airport, this full-time role reports to the Senior Base Engineer (SBE)/ Line Maintenance Manager (LMM) and works alongside the Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to ensure the compliant, safe, and efficient completion of maintenance tasks. As an AME (Mechanical & or Structures), you will support the operational safety and reliability of the fleet, ensuring strict adherence to company procedures and safety standards. As the AME (Mechanical & or Structures), your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Perform maintenance tasks safely and efficiently, following approved procedures.
- Communicate defects and updates to the supervising LAME promptly.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all tasks and compliance with engineering instructions.
- Handle tools and parts correctly, maintaining control and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to WHS guidelines.
- Promote and uphold safety, security, and environmental compliance across all operations.

Who we are looking for:
Our ideal candidate will have relevant experience and competence as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) within an AMO environment. You will be detail-oriented, committed to safety, and motivated to support the growth of the airline. Ideally, you would hold a Certificate 4 in Aeroskills and demonstrate a strong alignment with Alliance's values of safety and performance. Your skills will consist of:
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Structures experience highly regarded
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with others.
- Initiative and the capability to work both autonomously and in a team-focused environment.
- A demonstrated commitment to safety and performance in all tasks.
