About The Role
We're seeking a
Mechanical Shutdown Planner
to support a fixed plant maintenance team working on crushers, scrubbers, sizers, and wet plant assets. This is a
4-month contract
involving a rotating
5/2 (Perth-based) and 4/3 (site-based)
roster, with an immediate start.
You'll use
SAP
to scope, plan, and schedule shutdown maintenance activities across a range of fixed plant systems critical to site operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Scope and plan shutdown maintenance activities for fixed plant equipment
Schedule labour, materials, and tasks for assets including:
Crushing circuits, sizers, scrubbers, and wet plant
Prepare shutdown work packs, including task lists and job steps
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to align shutdown planning with production
- Update and maintain SAP for all planned works
- Drive safety and compliance through well-structured work scopes and schedules
About You
- Proven experience as a Mechanical or Shutdown Planner
- Strong SAP skills – particularly in fixed plant and shutdown planning
- Experience with crushers, screens, scrubbers, and wet plant preferred
- Comfortable rotating between Perth office and site (weekly basis)
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Australian working rights required
