National Dental Care (NDC) is one of Australia's largest dental service providers, with a growing nationwide network of over 100 modern dental practices utilising the latest dental technologies. We have one goal: to set the benchmark in providing Australians with superior dental services, underpinned by a strong culture of ongoing training and clinical improvement. We are seeking an organised and experienced HR Manager to lead and inspire our team of HR Business Partners.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity based in our Sydney Support Office to work within our growing Australian owned business. Reporting to our Chief Human Resources Officer, this is a broad role, providing comprehensive, best-practice HR support and guidance to both our Operations Managers, Practice Development Managers and our HR Business Partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team

  • Lead HR initiatives aligned with the broader people strategy

  • Use your ability to coach and develop employees at all levels to build leadership capability

  • Take a balanced, pragmatic and human centered approach to complex IR and ER matters

  • Drive transformational change; this role will see you collaborating on a range of projects

  • Be the trusted partner and advisor to your key stakeholders with an adaptable style that builds strong and trusted stakeholder relationships.

  • Developing, reviewing, and implementing HR strategies, policies and processes

  • Overseeing compensation and benefits frameworks, including salary reviews and benchmarking

  • Contribute to career development frameworks and succession planning initiatives

  • Drive change management, HR projects, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations

To be successful in the position you will possess the following:

· Previous experience in an HR Management role preferably within the Health (or similar) industry

· High energy and passionate

· Relevant tertiary qualifications - Degree preferred

· Well-developed experience in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures and practices

· Proven ability to interpret and apply relevant regulations and legislation

· Effective influencing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

· The ability to travel throughout Australia to our various offices and practices as required
