About the Role:

ACRWORLD are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Solar Engineer to become a vital part of our growing team, delivering utility-scale Solar Farm and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects along Australia's eastern seaboard.

Responsibilities:

  • Site-based role, where you'll play a hands-on leadership role during the construction phase
  • Oversee the construction, installation, and commissioning of utility-scale Solar and BESS systems.
  • Work closely with EPCs, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects on track, on time, and on budget.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and ensure every stage meets engineering and HSEQ standards.
  • Liaise with design teams, grid consultants, and OEMs to keep everything running efficiently.

Skills & Experience

  • Degree-qualified in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Australian driving licence.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in utility-scale Solar PV or renewable energy construction projects
  • Proven experience across technical engineering, project engineering, quality assurance, and HSE on site
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
