The role:

An opportunity exists for a Senior Electrical Engineer experience with Renewable and BESS Systems. You will have a high-level understanding of the energy yield assessments and experienced in design review, verification, and assessment of the renewable energy plants. This may include budget, schedule, quality, risk, contract and stakeholder management, supervise the construction, procurement activities, involve with the negotiation with EPC, manage industrial relations.

Key Responsibilities

Ideally you will have previous experience and the following skillsets:

• Solar/BESS site visits, inspections, RCAs
• High-level understanding of the energy yield assessments 
• Design review, verification, and assessment of the renewable energy plants
• Experiences with EPC, O&M, and module supply agreement contract reviews
• Perform technical due diligence, construction monitoring, and payment milestone authorization of the Solar and BESS
• Manage the Projects as the owners or lenders engineer
• Knowledge on solar or wind projects is highly desirable
• Manage other engineering sub-consultants to meet the requirements of BV's clients.
•  Maintaining communication with engineers of other international BV offices
• facilitating information sharing in the area of electrical engineering for renewable energy plants.
•  Client liaison, including development and continual review of client requirements, managing client expectations, keeping clients informed of work progress and ensuring timely production of deliverables
• Participate and represent BV in renewable energy conferences, events, etc.
•  Any other tasks requested by the Engineering Manager

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Masters is preferred
• Working in the consultancy environment as owner and lender engineer
• Solar/BESS farm site experience
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent report writing skills

• Monday to Friday with the need to travel
