Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Manager – Capital Equipment to join our national sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a designated metropolitan zone and select regional markets, cultivating client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategic project plans to drive sales growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with decision-makers within key client accounts and target markets.
- Understand client requirements and deliver strategic capital equipment solutions for vehicle acquisitions.
- Promote our industry-leading materials handling equipment across all categories to enhance brand visibility, market penetration, and customer loyalty.
- Provide comprehensive product and specifications training to facilitate tailored engineered solutions that meet client-specific needs.
- Analyse sales history, replacement cycles, and purchase frequency to strengthen relationships with repeat clients and high-volume purchasers.
- Coordinate project strategies, manage negotiations, and ensure delivery of customized solutions.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in B2B and B2C sales, particularly within engineered capital equipment markets. A background in mechanical and/or hydraulic equipment, machinery maintenance, or vehicle/motor body customization will be highly regarded. You should be a persuasive communicator with extensive local sales experience, well-versed in product application, solution-based selling, project coordination, and contract negotiations.
Remuneration:
