The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity based in Sydney for a Product Manager, to develop and implement product marketing strategies which contribute to increased unit growth, profitability, and market share. You will be joining a collegiate and collaborative team and have the support of a manager who has your best interests at heart and that of the company. To be successful in this role you will have strong financial acumen & stakeholder engagement skills driving improvements in profitability across the key Capital portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare product marketing plans which drive actions and outcomes and implement the marketing activity for a group of products.
- Building individual go to market strategies for the portfolios they are responsible for, including market analysis, revenue pathways and reimbursement opportunities.
- Collaborate across the business to execute key tactics throughout the year including sales promotion/advertising, new product introductions and professional education activities.
- Develop internal processes with sales team to ensure relevant marketing strategies and technical product support is available to meet needs.
- Manage dynamic forecast for product portfolio through regular review of sales trends and market issues.
- Working with the divisional leadership of the Capital and Corporate Accounts team, managing OPEX & CAPEX budget spend, focussing on growth activities, making recommendations on how to maximise budget output and highlight opportunities for prudent spending.
- Conduct market research on competitor activity and customer perceptions and provide these insights back to the sales teams.
- Be considered the capital portfolio subject matter expert to support the sales team and other functions within LifeHealthcare.
Experience required:
- Minimum 3 years Marketing experience, essential in medical devices, with capital & consumables equipment sales highly preferred.
- Proven experience in marketing experience in managing and growing multiportfolio businesses, across capital, consumables, and service within medical devices.
- Minimum 5 years' experience within the medical device industry
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Commerce or equivalent preferred
- Strong procurement, financial acumen required.
