Moneytech is a rapidly growing, non-bank commercial lending business with a national presence.
Moneytech provides a range of working capital small business products-Equipment Finance, Trade Finance, as well as Term Loans.
Moneytech is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Business Development Manager in Brisbane to drive customer acquisition within Moneytech's suite of products, including Equipment Finance, Trade Finance, and Term Loans.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- The BDM will use their networking skills to generate new business opportunities which are then converted into new customers.
- The BDM will be responsible for organising networking & training functions primarily within our broker channel and with customers direct.
- The BDM will be responsible for min amount of broker meetings per week.
- The BDM is the first point of call for all new business enquiries for Equipment Finance, as well as cross referring our Trade Finance & Term Loans products.
- The BDM will help to pre-qualify opportunities including issuing of indicative offers, credit submissions, etc working in conjunction with our Business Development Officers
- The BDM will use their skills to structure one or many financial products for the customer which best address the customers' needs whilst minimizing Moneytech's risk and ensuring that the facilities generate a return that is commensurate with the transactions risk.
- The BDM will on-board new clients and will coordinate the management of sales, and risk teams to ensure a smooth and speedy outcome for the new client.
- The BDM will ensure that their sales pipeline & CRM is clear, accurate and up to date.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business or a related field.
- 7 years' experience in sales within the financial services industry, preferably in equipment finance.
- Existing network of other financial services professionals including finance brokers, accountants and other advisers.
- Ability to motivate, enthuse and drive other individuals toward achieving your outcomes.
- Existing network of other financial services professionals including finance brokers, accountants and other advisers.
- Ability to interpret specialized financial data to solve complex problems.
- Natural sales mindset and capability.
- Knowledge of the non-bank financing market and its key participants.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and its suite of software solutions (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams are essential).
