Sign maker & installer

Full-time: Monday-Thursday 6:30am-5pm

About the Role

Signlite is seeking an enthusiastic member to join our team on a full time basis. We are a thriving signage business in Marrickville, NSW, with over 40 years of industry presence. A can-do attitude is essential.

No experience? No worries. We will teach you everything Sign making, how to use our tools and operate machines, installations and more.

Our facility houses a wide array of sign-making machinery including:

  • Printer
  • Laser cutter
  • UV and 3D printer
  • CNC router
  • Letter bending machine
  • Guillotine
  • Welding equipment

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret signage drawings and make signage to match
  • Operate sign making machinery on your own after extensive training
  • Attend site for installations and conduct as required after extensive training
  • Take responsibility of your allocated tools and uniform
  • Collect and deliver materials to/from local suppliers
  • Actively interact with ClickUp - our phone-app based software
  • Lodge daily time sheets for each days' work
  • Be available to work overtime on Fridays or Saturdays where required. Minimum 1x weekend per month may be requested
  • Available to communicate via mobile and WhatsApp

  • Comfortable and experienced working at heights, including ladder and platform use
  • White Card (Construction Induction)

  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Forklift Licence and EWP (Elevated Work Platform) Licence

  • Punctual, reliable, and self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
