Join our dynamic team as an Inside Sales Representative in the air cargo logistics industry, supporting sales and services for a major US Airline.

Based at Sydney Airport, you'll have the exposure of working with both Australian and New Zealand customers and be part of a great team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within a highly motivated team who are customer focused providing superior service as the first point of contact for our airline customers.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, responding promptly to inquiries via email and phone.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding shipment status, schedules, rates, and documentation requirements.
  • Proactively communicate with overseas cargo ports and local customers to keep them informed of any changes or delays with their shipments and provide alternative solutions when necessary.
  • Liaise with internal/external departments such as sales, operations and road feeder services to coordinate cargo shipments and address customer needs effectively.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner, striving to achieve satisfactory resolutions.
  • Investigate shipment discrepancies, delays, or damages and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry, reporting and filing to support an efficient workflow within the inside sales department.
  • Remain compliant with relevant company procedures and legislative policies, including health and safety standards.
  • Uphold high service standards and excellent customer service.

Skills & Experience:

  • Cert III or higher in a business-related field
  • Dangerous Goods Awareness certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years in an inside sales / customer service and/or administrative role.
  • Experience in international air freight or logistics is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced computer skills and high attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions quickly under pressure.
