Role Description
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading and executing a wide range of marketing initiatives that raise the company's profile, attract new clients and position Loyalty & Reward Co as the global authority on loyalty.
The ideal candidate will be a marketing generalist with experience across content creation, design, search optimisation, brand development and campaign execution. This is a strategic and hands-on role that requires creativity, initiative and strong project ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic marketing planning
- Develop and maintain a marketing plan and content calendar that supports business goals
- Coordinate campaigns and initiatives across channels
- Share marketing performance and progress updates in monthly team meetings
Website and content management
- Maintain and update the company website using WordPress
- Optimise site copy, imagery, layout and structure to improve discoverability and clarity
- Regularly update the project portfolio and case study sections
Search engine optimisation
- Implement on-page and off-page SEO best practices including keyword optimisation, technical updates and link building
- Monitor performance and deliver quarterly SEO reports with insights and recommendations
Content creation and thought leadership
- Work with consultants to develop blogs, articles, whitepapers and supporting visuals that showcase the company's expertise
- Collaborate with technology partners to create co-branded or joint content
- Ensure all content reflects our brand voice, positioning and values
Email marketing
- Plan, write, design and distribute the quarterly company newsletter
- Grow and manage the subscriber database
- Track performance and apply improvements based on engagement data
- Manage the company LinkedIn account with a regular cadence of posts
- Highlight key achievements, insights, news and events through engaging content
- Coordinate engagement within the Loyalty Masterclass Alumni Group
Event promotion and support
- Support the planning and promotion of company-run events
- Set up and manage Eventbrite pages and project timelines
- Coordinate event communications and post-event content recaps
Innovation and new channels
- Explore and trial emerging content formats such as video, podcasts or webinars
- Identify and test new channels to expand the company's reach and influence
Marketing reporting and insights
- Track performance across digital channels and campaigns
- Prepare regular reports covering website, SEO, email and LinkedIn analytics
Qualifications
- Minimum three years of experience in a digital marketing or generalist marketing role
- Strong writing and content creation skills with an understanding of SEO principles
- Experience managing and updating WordPress websites
- Confidence using Google Analytics and marketing tools such as HubSpot or Mailchimp
- Design skills and familiarity with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Suite
- Comfortable working autonomously while also contributing to a collaborative team
- Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail
- Interest in and willingness to learn about loyalty marketing and customer engagement
