Joule Resources is a specialist recruitment agency whose purpose is to find the best fit for every role and candidate. Due to organic growth, one of our clients currently requires a Lead Civil Engineer for their major land development projects. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Perth with strong progression opportunities in a highly-renowned, award-winning, growing consultancy.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with overseeing the design, coordination, and delivery of major land development projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes while mentoring and leading a skilled team, from concept to completion. By utilizing strong organizational and communication skills, this candidate will also have the ability to execute projects based on the criteria outlined, conforming with budget constraints and West Australian land development standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage land development projects from concept to completion

Oversee and mentor a team of engineers and designers

Collaborate with clients, councils, and regulatory bodies

Deliver projects on time and on budget.

Drive growth through new business opportunities

About You

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field

10+ years of experience in land development in relation to site design, land development, stormwater drainage, sewerage design and bulk earthworks

Strong knowledge of Western Australian land development regulations & practices

Proven experience in team leadership and project management

Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills
