Scope of Work:

Due to continued growth and project awards, NRW Civil and Mining are currently seeking an experienced
Senior Project Engineer
to join the high performing teams on our upcoming Civil Projects. The successful candidates will have experience in the Civil sector and will be able to coordinate and administer engineering activities to ensure projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications to successful completion.

To be considered for the position as a Senior Project Engineer you must possess the following as a minimum:

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering qualification or relevant degree
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Senior Project Engineer in a civil environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CAD and PDF software packages
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Projects/Primavera P6 software
  • Proven site execution capability, working with Supervisors, Superintendents and client representatives to maintain and build strong relationships
  • Ability to work autonomously but also collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Must be able to work FIFO

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Supervise Project Engineers and support the management team in the safe delivery of the project
  • Completing daily and weekly planning, progress and productivity reports and site records
  • Prepare engineering computations and drawings
  • Field engineering assistance
  • QA preparation, ITP sign off, NRC's and quality documentation
  • Procurement and planning assistance
  • Review project schedules to ensure delivery times are met and communicate with key stakeholders on progress
