We are seeking a passionate and visionary
Front Office Manager
at one of the Group's landmark regional properties. ABOUT THE VENUE

Located on Rottnest Island in Western Australia is a long-standing and respected property within the Prendiville Group portfolio. The venue offers barefoot boutique accommodation in the heart of Thomson Bay. With a relaxed coastal vibe, guests can enjoy lagoon-style pools, stylish rooms, and a serene island escape just steps from the beach.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Front Office operations, from guest arrivals and departures to reservations and team development. You will play a key leadership role in driving service excellence, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable stay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a talented front office team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Oversee guest check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage reservations, room allocations, and guest requests with attention to detail.
  • Maintain strong communication and collaboration with all Hotel Departments.
  • Monitor and manage departmental budgets, including labour and operational costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hotel policies and procedures.
  • Implement and maintain service standards, policies, and procedures for the Front Office.
  • Foster a positive team culture that encourages learning, collaboration, and professional growth.

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience as a Front Office Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager within a hotel or resort environment.
  • Strong customer service focus and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of front office operations, property management systems, and reservation processes.
  • A hands-on, motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain staff rosters efficiently.
  • Relevant hospitality qualifications and certifications.
