Nestled into the sand dunes in one of the most relaxed and breathtaking coastal locations in Australia, **Discovery Rottnest Island** is bringing to life Rottnest Islands first glamping experience. Featuring 83-luxury tents across several service levels, a resort style pool and two restaurants and bars.

**The Role**:
**_ As this opportunity is ongoing, to be considered for the position your working rights in one location must extend to a period beyond 6 months. _**

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the front office team.
- Support and develop the front office team, fostering a positive team culture
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Provide an exceptional guest experience
- Processing guest arrivals and departures
- Accurately using the park booking system to make reservations and manage accounts
- Coordinate with the Housekeeping team to track readiness of accommodation
- Supply guests information regarding property and local areas of interest
- Completing the day-to-day office administration
- Maintain excellent relationships with the park teams, residents and guests
- Operate a roster over a 7 day period **including being on-call 3 -4 nights per week**

**What we look for**:
To be successful in this role you will have:

- Previous experience in a resort front office management role
- Experience leading and developing Teams
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly motivated and able to work collaboratively within a team
- Superior organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly proficient in Excel.
- Proficient experience in RMS
- Night audit function experience
- Flexibility to be on call for the specified number of nights
- Previous experience working remotely advantageous

This role may require heavy lifting (up to 20kg), kneeling, squatting, and working with chemicals and machinery.
