Sales and Customer Service Administrator

The company is a trusted leader in fabricating high-end window furnishings, specialising in shutters, awnings and security screens.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated person who is keen to fill the role of Sales and Customer Service Administrator in Yatala, QLD.
The main focus of this role is customer service, sales and general administration, however we value people with the capability to step-up into a variety of other day to day tasks and projects that arise and who can show initiative. We also value employees with integrity and who aren't afraid to put in a hard day's work. In return, we offer a friendly workplace as well as appropriate remuneration.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Sales administration (managing orders from initial receipt until dispatch).
- Responding to customer requests and queries, including technical queries (after appropriate training).
- Working collaboratively with the external Sales Representatives, including assisting with scheduling appointments.
- Internal B2B sales (contacting customers with special offers, customers who haven't purchased for a period of time etc).
- Develop a full understanding of our product range through training.
- Ability to be adaptable to workplace daily requirements.
- A solution focused attitude.
- Carry out a variety of other administrative tasks as required.
This position is located at our Yatala facility. The following skills and competencies will be viewed favourably:
- Ideally you will have the relevant experience to demonstrate that you are capable of performing the above tasks but we value dedication and aptitude above previous specific experience.
- A positive can-do attitude along with a flexible and quick-thinking personality with the genuine desire to help customers.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills. We use Google Workspace and some Microsoft office programs.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to work alone or as part of a team, providing support to other team members when daily workloads are unevenly distributed.
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
- Previous experience in the blind industry will be viewed highly but is not essential.
- Liaising with internal staff to ensure clear communication between the office and factory.
- Ability to analyse numerical and written information.
- Ideally you should be a fast learner with an ability to grasp concepts with minimal review.
- Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Monitor and maintain multiple tasks.
- Must be extremely reliable and have your own transport.
