About The Role

You'll act as the right hand to the Manager, helping to implement strategic plans and initiatives while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

This role is based in West End, Brisbane and offers hybrid working options.

What You'll Do:

  • Strategic Support & Project Coordination - Lead the delivery of strategic projects and programs; support policy development activities
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Support the Manager in building and maintaining relationships with government officials, industry leaders and other key stakeholders; represent the Institute at industry events and identify external partnership opportunities
  • Operational Management - Oversee daily operations, including budget monitoring, resource and facility management, and coordination of member engagement activities
  • Governance Support - Coordinate council and committee activities, prepare governance documentation and support governance compliance activities

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, Law, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in member-based or professional associations (preferred)
  • Familiarity with governance support, committee administration, and policy implementation
  • Experience in senior coordination, project management or stakeholder engagement roles
  • Proven skills in government relations, stakeholder management, or public affairs
  • Strong skills in project coordination, operational management and leading teams
  • Experience in delivering programs, managing events, and overseeing budgets
