Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Funds Manager located in the North West Sydney area. The Funds Manager will be responsible for managing investments, analyzing financial data, and developing strategic plans for investment portfolios. Additionally, the role involves monitoring market trends, providing financial advice, and ensuring portfolio growth and sustainability.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Investment Strategy
    : Develop and execute fund-specific strategies aligned with syndicate goals, risk appetite, and market conditions.
  • Portfolio Oversight
    : Monitor asset performance, rebalance portfolios, and manage capital deployment across property and alternative assets.
  • Investor Reporting
    : Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports, ROI summaries, and risk disclosures for wholesale investors.
  • Compliance & Governance
    : Ensure fund operations comply with ASIC, AFSL, and syndicate-specific mandates.
  • Operational Management
    : Oversee fund accounting, unit pricing, cash flow, and administrator coordination.
  • Investor Relations
    : Support onboarding, eligibility checks, and investor communications including pitch decks and updates.
  • Bio snippet

  • Org chart positioning
    : Place under Head of Funds Management with dotted-line reporting to Syndicate Director.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills and Financial acumen
  • Experience in Investments and Investment Management

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; advanced degree is a plus
