Production Coordinator
to join our dynamic team.
This is a 12-month position to cover maternity leave.

About the Role

As our Production Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in bringing our products to life. Reporting to the Production Manager, this role is at the heart of our product development and production end-to-end processes, meeting critical path deadlines, achieving target margins and ensuring each order is executed in line with yd standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Order Management:
Raise purchase orders and ensure they are accurately processed and recorded.



Product Collaboration:
Partner with the Product Team throughout the product development process, ensuring smooth handover of complete details and requirements (fabric & trims references, Tech Packs, Critical Path timeline) to suppliers.



Tech Pack Creation:
Create Tech Packs detailing complete requirements for fabric & trims, design, block fit, and quality.



Fit Coordination:
Work closely with the Product & Production teams to coordinate fittings and ensure products meet fit and quality standards.



Critical Path Tracking:
Monitor and manage orders throughout the production lifecycle - from sampling stages through to shipment deadlines.



Cost Negotiation:
Negotiate costs with suppliers to achieve target margins.



Problem Solving:
Proactively address and resolve any product and production issues to maintain deadlines and quality standards.



Supplier Liaison:
Act as the key point of contact for suppliers, maintaining strong relationships to achieve seamless production.



Maintain Work in Process Files:
Organize documents and samples to provide product tracking transparency.



Compliance & Sustainability:
Communicate to suppliers Social & Ethical Compliance and Sustainability requirements and validate certificates in accordance with existing policies and procedures.



Cross-Functional Relationships:
Maintain key internal relationships with Product, Production, Planning, Compliance, Sustainability and Logistics teams.

About You:

We're looking for a team player with a passion for production and an eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have:



Experience:
Ideally, 3-5 years previous experience in production coordination within the retail, apparel, or fashion industry.



Organizational Skills:
Exceptional time management and ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Effectively organize samples and files regularly.



Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication to effectively liaise and build positive relationships with teams and suppliers.



Critical Path Knowledge:
Familiarity with production timelines and processes, from sampling to delivery. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure supplier meeting requirements.



Technical Understanding:
Basic knowledge of garment construction and fitting processes. Experience in Excel, 3Clicks and Apparel 21 an advantage.



Team Spirit:
A proactive attitude and a collaborative approach to working across departments.
