Sydney, New South Wales, Australia News Corp Australia Full time

What's the role?

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Product Coordinator to support the delivery and operational management of NCA's commercial content product suite initially, with the opportunity to expand to other product suites over time.

This role focuses on ensuring sales teams are equipped with the right information, documentation, and approvals to book client campaigns effectively. You will play a critical role in maintaining smooth processes, answering day-to-day sales queries, managing approvals in the booking system, and helping to upskill the sales team on our products and business rules.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who wants to build expertise in commercial products while developing the skills to grow into a future product management career path.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the various product suites and associated business rules, ensuring consistency in communication and execution.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for sales enquiries on commercial products, providing accurate and timely responses.

  • Manage all product approvals in Ad Point, ensuring requests are compliant, timely, and correctly processed.

  • Learn when and how to escalate questions or approvals to the appropriate senior team members in Product and Sales Enablement when required.

  • Monitor common themes in sales feedback (via DL) to identify recurring questions and gaps in resources and materials, and escalate these to the Senior Manager Commercial Product for further action.

  • Help maintain and update a centralised FAQ and other collateral for internal stakeholders, working alongside Marketing and Product Managers.

Who are you?

  • 1–2 years of experience in a coordination, support, or operations role (or strong transferable experience through internships/placements).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to apply business rules accurately.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple requests and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organisational skills with a focus on documentation and process consistency.
  • Experience in media, advertising, or content environments preferred
  • Ideally have familiarity with workflow or approval tools (e.g., Ad Point or similar systems).
  • Ideally have experience preparing enablement or training materials (guides, FAQs, documentation).
