We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Logistics, Procurement & Maintenance Manager to join our team at one of Australia's leading wholesale production plant nurseries. This is a diverse and hands-on leadership role, responsible for the end-to-end management of logistics, procurement, and maintenance operations across our large-scale site.

About the Role

In this role, you will oversee supply chain activities, procurement planning, fleet and freight operations, as well as the maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and infrastructure. You will also ensure compliance with Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) requirements under NHVAS, maintaining safe and efficient scheduling for drivers.

This position requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and the ability to balance both strategic planning and daily operational demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including fleet scheduling, freight management, and order fulfilment
  • Manage procurement of raw materials, consumables, equipment, and services.
  • Lead the maintenance function, ensuring reliable operation of vehicles, machinery, and nursery infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective logistics strategies to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with BFM and workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support logistics, procurement, and maintenance staff.
  • Monitor KPIs, budgets, and reporting requirements across all functions.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management.
  • Proven experience in maintenance or facility management.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
  • Understanding of NHVAS / BFM compliance requirements.
  • MC Driver's Licence (essential).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with logistics and maintenance management systems (WMS, TMS, CMMS).
