Job Opportunity

This is a pivotal role within our manufacturing processes, ensuring seamless supply chain operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Procurement activities will be led by you, including sourcing, negotiating and managing suppliers for marine and manufacturing materials.
  • You will oversee timely delivery of parts and components to multiple production lines, addressing any arising issues.
  • Inventory management and warehouse operations across facilities will fall under your responsibility, minimizing delays and maintaining accurate stock levels.
  • Collaboration with Production and Engineering teams will be crucial in anticipating material needs and preventing bottlenecks.
  • You will implement process improvements in procurement and logistics to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Regular KPI reports will be prepared, highlighting risks, savings and supply chain performance.

Requirements

  • A degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain, or equivalent experience in manufacturing procurement, is essential.
  • Proven track record in managing suppliers, negotiating contracts and resolving delivery issues in high-volume production environments is required.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, logistics and warehouse operations is necessary.
  • Effective leadership skills, with the ability to coach and guide teams while staying engaged in daily operations, are required.
  • Commercially-minded individuals with a passion for marine manufacturing and solutions-focused approach are preferred.
