Simply Seated is a Sydney-based event hire company specialising in timeless, stylish furniture and décor for weddings, corporate functions, and private events. Our curated collection, exceptional service, and passion for beautiful events have made us a trusted partner for planners, venues, and clients across NSW.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Event Sales Consultant to join our team in an Account Manager-style role, managing client relationships and driving event bookings from enquiry through to execution.

The Role

This is a dynamic, client-facing position ideal for someone who thrives in the fast-paced world of events. You will be the main point of contact for clients, guiding them through the hire process and helping to create seamless, memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming sales enquiries via phone, email, and our website
  • Prepare quotes and tailored proposals for weddings, corporate events, and private functions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, venues, and planners
  • Liaise with internal operations and warehouse teams to coordinate bookings
  • Attend occasional client meetings and site visits
  • Oversee bookings from enquiry to post-event follow-up, ensuring a high standard of service
  • Maintain accurate records and booking details in CRM and quoting systems
  • Work towards individual and team sales targets

About You

  • Proven experience in event hire, event sales, or account management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple bookings at once
  • Comfortable using CRM or quoting software (experience with Current RMS is a plus)
  • Understanding of the events industry, with a passion for design and client experience
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude
  • Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends as required during peak periods

Pay: $65,000.00 – $8,000,000.00 per year
