**Job Opportunity: Accounts Receivable and Administration Officer**

Simply Seated is an innovative event hire and styling company dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences through our beautifully curated event decor and hire services. We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Accounts Receivable and Administration Officer to join our growing team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Accounts Receivable**:

- Process and manage all incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and timely posting to customer accounts.
- Send invoices and follow up on overdue accounts, ensuring collections are handled promptly and professionally.
- Reconcile accounts and provide monthly reports on outstanding balances.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies.

**Administration**:

- Assist with general office administration, including managing correspondence and maintaining customer records.
- Support event coordination by managing internal documents and liaising with suppliers.
- Ensure all financial records are up-to-date and compliant with company policies.
- Assist with payroll processing and maintain employee records.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in accounts receivable or similar administrative roles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero) is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in the event industry is highly desirable but not required.
