About the Team:
Our team is driven by a commitment to making IT systems seamless for users. We support device provisioning, enterprise application deployment, platform changes and updates. We work with a broad range of stakeholders across the Department including technical teams, vendors, and school-based staff to ensure our services evolve in line with industry practices and remain fit for purpose.
About the Role:
The Operations Manager oversees the technical delivery of services provided by the Platform Development team.
- This includes managing staff responsible for application deployment, device configuration and provisioning, scripting and automation, and some application development. A background in technologies such as Intune, Active Directory, SCCM, Group Policy, PowerShell, and C++ is desirable.
- Project Management Skills - You will be expected to be familiar with project management methodologies and can coordinate, allocate resources and track delivery of IT enabled projects.
- The role also requires the ability to produce clear and accurate documentation, including change records aligned with ITIL practices, as well as design and process documentation to support ongoing service improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Strong customer focus - Maintain a strong customer focus by ensuring that all services are delivered with the customer in mind, aiming for the best possible outcomes.
