About us:
Campbelltown City Council is a forward-thinking, ambitious organisation at the heart of one of Sydney's fastest-growing regions. Ideally located with excellent access to public transport and major road networks, our city blends the beauty of extensive bushland along the Georges River with the energy of vibrant urban centres. As a key strategic hub in the Macarthur region, we're shaping a dynamic future for our diverse and thriving community.
At Campbelltown, we do things differently. We're upbeat, resourceful, and determined to make a real impact. Our people and community are at the centre of everything we do.
As a planning team we work together, support one another, and celebrate our shared successes. With a naturally welcoming culture, we value good-natured humour, positivity, and a can-do attitude. Our workplace is agile, flexible, and future-focused. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves, be part of something meaningful and help shape a city full of opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
About the role:
With a strong focus on best-practice planning outcomes, timely decision-making, and meaningful community engagement, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for assessing and providing recommendations on a diverse range of development proposals. From small scale projects to highly complex developments engaging with Campbelltown's Design Excellence Panel, Local Planning Panel, and the Sydney Western City Planning Panel, you will play a key role in shaping the city's future.
What we are seeking:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Development Assessment Team in a full-time, permanent role. To be successful in this role, you will bring:
