
Senior Development Assessment Coordinator

A unique opportunity exists to lead a high-performing team assessing and providing recommendations on development proposals, from small-scale projects to complex developments engaging with Design Excellence Panels and Local Planning Authorities.
About the RoleAs a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for leading a dynamic team of professionals, collaborating with experienced Coordinators across various disciplines.
Key Responsibilities- Manage complex activities and projects, demonstrating strong leadership and coordination skills.
- Apply deep knowledge of town planning concepts, urban design principles, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Motivate and guide professional staff, leveraging proven leadership experience.
- Interpret and apply legislation effectively, utilising advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant qualifications in urban development, city planning, or a related discipline.
- Proven leadership experience, driving motivated teams.
- Strong development assessment experience, across various application types and scales.
- Genuine commitment to Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, Trust, and Optimism.
- Current Class C Driver's Licence and valid Construction Induction (White Card).
