About the role
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service professional (specialising in Outbound Sales) to join our dynamic team at Martin and Pleasance (M&P) in our Port Melbourne office. This full-time, on-site role will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients while generating sales and taking orders. You will be part of a team reporting to our Customer Service Manager.
What you'll be doing
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email and providing knowledgeable and friendly assistance.
- Processing orders and managing customer accounts with accuracy and efficiency.
- Providing sales support by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant products and services.
- Conducting outbound sales calls to generate orders.
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation to support customer interactions.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of customer service processes and procedures.
- Assisting with general administrative tasks as required.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a customer service support role, ideally within the natural health industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive and adaptable approach.
- Knowledge in using relevant software and systems, including CRM and order management tools.
- A commitment to delivering a high standard of customer service and achieving sales targets.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in homeopathy/naturopathy are beneficial but not essential.
- A team player.
