About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver civil infrastructure and landscape projects. You will oversee all stages from design through to construction, ensuring projects are completed to a high standard, on time and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to oversee both technical and administrative aspects of project delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
Trade certification or equivalent
5 years of management experience within the industry
Ability to interpret levels on construction drawings
Desirable
- Proficiency with MS Projects and other project management software
Key Responsibilities
Review project plans and specifications, providing input on design, scheduling, forecasting requirements, identifying construction issues, and recommending cost-saving measures.
Lead and communicate effectively with site staff and trades, ensuring labour productivity, subcontractor management, and high-quality workmanship.
Monitor, update, and report on project schedules, costs, budgets, variations, and contractual obligations using MS Projects and other project management systems.
Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and senior management to resolve issues, attend meetings, and provide progress updates including PCG and monthly reporting.
Oversee procurement, including material scheduling, quantity take-offs, trade quotations, and subcontractor engagement, ensuring cost-effective project delivery.
Maintain control over site operations, equipment, documentation, and confidential information, ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.
