Perth, Western Australia Warrikal Pty Ltd Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

Warrikal is a dynamic, majority Aboriginal-owned, and operated business that has rapidly emerged as a formidable force in the resources and minerals sector of WA. The company established itself as a leading provider of maintenance, shutdown, and specialised project services, cementing its reputation as a trusted and efficient provider.

The Role

Warrikal is seeking a proactive and organised Coordinator – Resource Planning to join our growing team in Perth.

This is a hands-on role where you'll plan, mobilise, and coordinate personnel for shutdowns, maintenance jobs, or projects across WA's major mining operations. You'll work closely with site leadership, project teams, and our people on the ground to ensure every job is fully prepared, staffed, and delivered efficiently.

You'll be the connection point between our people, clients, and operations - keeping communication clear, solving challenges as they arise, and making sure the right people are in the right place at the right time.

If you enjoy fast-paced, people-focused work where your organisational skills truly make a difference, this role will keep you challenged and engaged.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end planning and mobilisation for shutdowns, maintenance, or project work
  • Review and interpret job requests, clarify details, and update planning systems with accurate information
  • Engage with personnel to confirm allocations, manage changes, and fill job gaps quickly
  • Communicate with internal teams, site leadership, and clients to align workforce planning with operational needs
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements in line with client and job requirements
  • Oversee job readiness and compliance checks before mobilisation
  • Maintain accurate workforce records and provide clear updates to stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and team efficiency initiatives

About You

  • Eligible to work in Australia
  • 1–2 years' experience in workforce planning, scheduling, mobilisation, or similar coordination roles within a mining, maintenance, or construction environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
  • Experience using training, mobilisation or planning software including ERMS, Spear, LRS, SuccessFactors, and INX
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, building positive relationships across teams and with clients
  • The ability to think ahead, adapt quickly, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when managing rosters and workforce data
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and planning or client systems
  • A positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and genuine commitment to delivering quality outcomes

Why Warrikal

  • Develop systems and processes within an experienced and growing team
  • Learn from experienced professionals dedicated to your success
  • Access to career pathways and leadership roles within Warrikal
  • Flexible work arrangements (conditions apply)
  • Access to mental health support
