We are seeking a Support Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about the disability sector, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives on building strong relationships with participants, families, and community networks.
The Role
As a Support Coordinator, you will:
- Assist NDIS participants to understand and implement their NDIS plans.
- Connect participants with community, mainstream, and funded supports.
- Build participant capacity to manage their own supports and increase independence.
- Coordinate supports, resolve challenges, and work collaboratively with service providers.
- Maintain accurate records and provide timely reporting in line with NDIS requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in the disability, community services, or allied health sector (preferred).
- Strong understanding of the NDIS and the role of support coordination.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and problem-solve.
- Commitment to person-centred practice and empowerment of participants.
- Current Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and valid driver's licence (or willingness to obtain).
Hours & Availability
- Part-time position (minimum of 3 days per week, with flexibility).
- Opportunity to expand hours as the service grows.
