THE ROLE.

We are seeking a full-time, energetic and results driven Broking Assistant to provide long term support in our commercial broking team.

Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the team in managing their portfolio of clients' insurance, risk management and programs
  • Prepare client documentation and invoices. (for example, renewal questionnaires, new business and renewal quotes, and client manuals)
  • Assist with the lodgement of claims.
  • Maintaining and developing business relationships with new and existing clients via phone and email
  • Developing and maintaining meaningful working relationships with our underwriting partners
  • Undertake professional development (achieve and maintain compliance with the relevant legislative requirements)

This position is NOT suitable for candidates wishing to work from home.

Successful applicants will have:

  • Minimum Tier 2 General Insurance - Broking qualification (ANZIIF)
  • Positive attitude.
  • A strong work ethic with the ability to work collaboratively or autonomously as necessary.
  • Strong organisational skills including attention to detail, the ability to prioritise work, manage deadlines and ability to critically think.
  • Demonstrated experience within office environment and the ability to comply with Bruce Insurance's core values of Teamwork, Respect, Integrity and Professionalism.
  • Sound oral and written communication skills, confidence, with initiative to take on additional duties when required
  • Experience using WinBeat or Insight, Insurer systems & Office 365 is preferable.
