We are seeking a dedicated Homestay Program Administrator to oversee and manage our international student homestay program. You will be responsible for coordinating host family placements, ensuring the well-being of international students, and fostering positive relationships between students and host families.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, screen, and select suitable host families for the homestay program.
- Match international students with appropriate host families based on preferences and needs.
- Conduct orientations for both students and host families and inform them of program expectations.
- Monitor the well-being and progress of international students in homestay placements.
- Address any concerns or issues that may arise between students and host families.
- Coordinate transportation arrangements for students, if necessary.
- Organise cultural exchange activities and events to enhance the homestay experience.
- Maintain accurate records of student placements, interactions, and evaluations.
- Collaborate with educational and administrative departments to support students' overall success.
- Stay updated on relevant immigration and visa regulations for international students.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, International Relations, or a related field.
- Previous experience in student services, international programs, or homestay coordination.
- Fluent in English and Korean
Essential Qualifications:
- Strong cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with cultural sensitivity and professionalism.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 per week
