Our EnergyCo NSW Strategy & Policy Division is currently seeking to appoint a Manager, Parliament and Government Services to lead a small, high-performing team coordinating Ministerial briefs, parliamentary business and Cabinet-related outputs for EnergyCo - the agency helping deliver NSW's once-in-a-generation energy transition. You'll be close to the action where policy, politics and delivery meet, shaping clear, timely advice that supports the CEO of EnergyCo, the Department of Climate Change, Energy the Environment and Water and the Minister's Office.
You will oversee end-to-end workflows for Ministerial and parliamentary outputs (allocation, tracking and on-time delivery), assure quality and compliance, and uplift systems, templates and processes. You'll scan Parliament for emerging issues, manage high-risk or sensitive matters and build strong relationships across the Department, other agencies and the Minister's Office, all while coaching your team and championing accessible communication. It's varied, fast-moving and genuinely impactful
About You
You're a confident people leader with deep knowledge of NSW Government systems and the workings of Parliament and Ministerial offices. You've delivered high-quality briefs and submissions under pressure, offered sound advice on complex or sensitive issues and you're known for calm judgement and crisp, audience-ready writing.
You collaborate broadly, influence with credibility and navigate competing priorities with tact. You're strong on stakeholder engagement and negotiation and you lift team capability while improving processes and outcomes.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent senior-level experience

The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board, appointed by the Minister for Energy. EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).
EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government's Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state's electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State's first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs), which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities, investors, and industry to investigate, plan, recommend and coordinate generation, storage and network infrastructure projects.
