THE OPPORTUNITY

As the successful candidate you will work under the leadership of highly experienced directors and managers and be part of a friendly, professional Corporate Advisory team.  You will be engaged in assignments for a range of industries and company sizes ranging from ASX listed companies to not-for-profit organisations.

You will be responsible for:

• Invoice and receipt processing;
• Management of creditor pay runs and loading payments for EFT;
• Preparation and finalisation of invoices;
• Payroll management, including superannuation and salary sacrificing arrangements;
• Bank and other account reconciliations;
• Assisting with the initial preparation of monthly management accounts;
• Assisting the team with the completion of tasks or work assignments as necessary to ensure client requirements are met;
• Identifying potential issues or opportunities in day-to-day work and raising these with Directors;
• Liaising directly with clients to respond to queries or provide information, as requested.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL BE:

• Proficient in MYOB, Xero and Microsoft Office;
• Have a basic understanding and ability to prepare monthly management accounts using Accounting Software (MYOB and Xero);
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role;
• Be able to work in a team environment and support team members;
• Good time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise work to tight deadlines;
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or higher.
