We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our thriving Middle Ridge Family Practice in Toowoomba, Queensland. We are a private billing practice. This full-time (or negotiated part time) role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and effective running of our medical practice, supporting our dedicated team of doctors and nurses.

As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all administrative, financial and operational aspects of the practice, contributing to our continued growth and success and positive presence in our local community.

What you'll be doing

• Manage all administrative and financial functions including patient records, billing, payroll, and procurement
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of administrative staff
• Implement and maintain effective systems, policies, and procedures to ensure optimal practice operations.
• Ensure the practice fulfills ongoing Accreditation standards and be a driving force in maintaining excellence through the Accreditation process
• Liaise with medical practitioners, allied health professionals, and external stakeholders to coordinate patient care and practice activities
• Contribute to the development and execution of the practice's strategic and business plans
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, legislation, and industry standards

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Practice Manager or in a similar healthcare administration role
• Strong understanding of general medical practice operations, patient billing, and regulatory requirements. An excellent working knowledge of Medicare is essential .
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with the practice team and tenant doctors, diverse stakeholders and Government bodies.
• Proficient in using practice management software Best Practice ,Cubiko, HotDocs and MS Office suite
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and a collaborative management style
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Health Administration) or equivalent experience
• Understand Confidentiality, demonstrate empathy and compassion with patients and work with our Vision of "Your Health ,Our Priority".
