ServiceNow Administrator Contract with University Client

  • Location: Remote (Australia-based university)
  • Contract: Immediate start until end of year
  • Role: ServiceNow Administrator

Your new company
We are seeking a ServiceNow Administrator to join our university IT team on a short-term contract. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation and administration of our ServiceNow platform. You'll be responsible for day-to-day management, monitoring queues, and supporting users with timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and changes.
This is a short term contract: ASAP commence until End of Year.
Your new role

  • Monitor assigned queues to ensure timely response and resolution of tickets
  • Assess incoming requests, prioritise based on urgency and impact, and assign appropriately
  • Take ownership of tickets from assignment through resolution, documenting all steps and keeping users informed
  • Review and manage ticket backlog, escalating or closing aged tickets as required
  • Perform routine platform administration tasks including:

User and group management

Access controls

Configuration of forms, fields, and workflows

  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Administrator
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication skills to keep stakeholders updated throughout the ticket lifecycle
  • A proactive approach to managing backlogs and ensuring platform efficiency
